A faculty member at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, participates in the final exam for the Iraqi Board in Orthopedic Surgery and Joints.

In an effort to enhance academic participation and contribute to the development of specialized medical education programs, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Waleed, Head of the Training Center for Iraqi Board Students in Orthopedic Surgery at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, participated in the final examination for Iraqi Board students held in Baghdad, as part of the requirements for obtaining the Iraqi Board Doctorate.

The examination included a comprehensive scientific and practical evaluation, encompassing discussions of several complex clinical cases. The aim was to assess the diagnostic competence and treatment skills of the participating physicians, in accordance with the standards adopted in specialized medical education programs.

This participation aligns with the academic role played by the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala in supporting clinical training pathways and contributing to the evaluation of the outcomes of the Iraqi Board programs. This, in turn, enhances the quality of medical education and keeps pace with scientific advancements in the field of specialized surgical disciplines.
