The Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Khalid Khalil Al-Araji, received Dr. Jumana Jassim Ali, Director of the Citizens’ Affairs Office at the University of Karbala, to discuss strengthening institutional cooperation and improving services provided to students and the public.
The meeting was also attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Yahya Al-Mahna, the Director of College Registration, Lecturer Dr. Murtadha Abdullah Aboud, and the College’s Citizens’ Affairs Officer, Assistant Lecturer Mona Ali Hussein.
The visit included discussions on developing mechanisms for joint work between the College and the University, particularly regarding the processing of citizen and student affairs transactions and expediting their completion according to established administrative procedures. The importance of continuous coordination among relevant parties was also emphasized to ensure smooth procedures and minimize obstacles for those seeking services.
During the meeting, the Dean affirmed the College’s commitment to supporting the efforts of the Citizens’ Affairs Office and providing a suitable administrative environment that contributes to delivering high-quality services characterized by accuracy and transparency. He stressed the necessity of adhering to applicable laws and regulations to guarantee the rights of all parties.
For her part, the Director of the Citizens’ Affairs Office commended the cooperation shown by the College of Medicine, emphasizing the importance of continued communication and integration among the various departments of the university. This collaboration contributes to strengthening citizens’ trust in academic institutions and achieving the public interest.
This visit is part of a series of inspection tours conducted by the University of Karbala’s administration to monitor the performance of services in the colleges and work to improve them in line with current requirements and enhance the quality of services provided.
