In adherence to quality standards and academic reputation requirements, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research directs private universities and colleges to complete the requirements for program accreditation of their academic departments, thus ensuring the sustainability of educational services based on academic accreditation.
In this regard, the Compliance Committees within the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority will issue recommendations regarding the suspension of admissions to academic departments that have not fulfilled the program accreditation requirements, based on the provisions of Paragraph (2) of Article (38) of the Private Higher Education Law No. (25) of 2016.
At the same time, the Ministry directs the relevant compliance committees to issue the necessary recommendation to suspend admissions and determine enrollment capacity in the event that private universities fail to meet the requirements related to tuition fees, tax accounting procedures, and social security contributions in accordance with applicable legislation.
