The university president meets with the central institutional accreditation committee to discuss ways to enhance institutional readiness.

University President Professor Sabah Wajid Ali met with the Central Institutional Accreditation Committee in the Quality Assurance Department to follow up on the institutional accreditation requirements for the university’s colleges, centers, and departments, and to discuss ways to enhance institutional readiness in accordance with the approved standards.

During the meeting, the procedures undertaken by the various university departments were discussed to ensure the completion of institutional accreditation files and the organization of supporting evidence and documentation for the approved standards. The meeting also addressed preparing academic departments and administrative units to provide the required data and information during the committee’s audits.

The university president emphasized the importance of this file, as it represents a key indicator in evaluating the academic and administrative performance of educational institutions.

Wajid indicated that the university is committed to providing all the necessary resources to ensure the success of the committee’s work. He called upon colleges, departments, and administrative units to fully cooperate with the institutional accreditation teams and adhere to the scheduled dates for the committee’s visits.

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ghanimi, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, highlighted the importance of organizing the evidence and documentation related to the approved standards and providing the necessary data. This will contribute to supporting the university’s efforts to meet institutional accreditation requirements and enhance the quality of higher education.
