Minister of Education honors the winners of the Qur’anic competition at Al-Nahrain University and shares the Ramadan Iftar banquet with boarding students

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi honored the winners of the Ramadan Quranic competition held by the College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University.

The students competed to recite verses from the Holy Quran in front of a specialized committee headed by Dr. Rafi Al-Amiri, while the Minister of Education congratulated the winners and participants for this interest and excellence in performance and interaction with the contents of the Quran in this holy month.

In his speech, he emphasized the interest of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in this segment of the memorizers of the Holy Quran and providing appropriate climates for their care at the level of admission to universities and enabling them to achieve their scientific and academic ambitions.

The Minister of Education revealed a project for a major national Quranic competition, which will be managed by a ministerial committee that will be responsible for providing a detailed map in the environment of Iraqi universities.

The Ramadan Quranic competition concluded with an Iftar banquet in the presence of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, President of Al-Nahrain University, deans of faculties, students of internal departments and international students studying in Iraq.
