The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the Faculty of Medicine at Karbala University, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Ridha Abu Tahin, participated in giving a lecture as part of the scientific seminar entitled “The harm of smoking on human health and society”, which was held on Tuesday, 2-4-2024, at Al-Hussein University College. 4-2024 at Al-Hussein University College, where the seminar dealt with several topics, including the spread of the scourge of smoking and its health and social effects, how to address it, and how to make the blessed month of Ramadan a starting point for quitting smoking.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the Deanship of Al-Hussein University College honored Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Rida Abu Tahin with a book of thanks and appreciation for his distinguished giving and enriching the content of the lecture.
