The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the College of Medicine, Karbala University, held a training course entitled “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT”
The course, which was lectured by Professor Dr. Ali Tariq Abdul Hassan, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Redha Abu Tahin, and Dr. Mohammed Reda, aimed to develop and enhance the thinking skills and mental health of the participants, and how to apply effective techniques and practical strategies to real-life cases.
The course included the concept of cognitive behavioral therapy, the scientific and applied foundations of cognitive behavioral therapy, and knowledge of therapeutic techniques for the most important psychological disorders with cognitive and behavioral therapy.
