The Faculty of Medicine, Karbala university, opened the twelfth teaching methods course today, corresponding to 2023/10/10, for the Medical Group under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Riad dhihoud al-Zubaidi, and the presence of the scientific assistant of the faculty, Mr. A.Dr.Ali Abdulreza Abu Tahin and A.Dr. Ali Tariq Abdul Hassan ،
The course lasts one day a week for 12 weeks, and a number of holders of higher medical and health certificates from Karbala University, Karbala health department and some private colleges participate in it.
The course aims to develop the knowledge, skills and experience of participants from the educational and health sector in various fields of medical education, as its topics include several axes focusing on the reality of the education and training process.(Such as learning theories, principles of adult education, education in the current century, curriculum design, education in large groups and giving an effective lecture, PowerPoint presentations, learning in small groups, class management, effective educational environment and psychological construction of the student, methods of assessment, exams and preparation of questions, proven medicine, proofs and various other topics in interactive ways, assessment of training needs to enable participants of modern teaching methods and how to deal with How to implement lessons and choose the most appropriate method for each of the Chosen Learning Strategies and their relationship to each other and how to employ knowledge while distinguishing individual differences among learners and developing their thinking in accordance with modern trends in professional teacher preparation, teamwork competencies, direct teaching and cooperative learning, inquiry, project learning, active learning, project learning and learning to think.
