Dr. Muayyad Abdul Latif Al-Musawi, a faculty member in the Department of General Surgery at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, participated in the conference of the Emirates Society of Ophthalmology and Surgery, which was held in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Muayyad Al-Musawi’s participation in the conference included presenting a rare case of uveitis due to tuberculosis, which appeared in the patient after a successful cataract surgery, where it was diagnosed and treated for about a year until complete recovery.
The aim of the conference was to present the case and learn about the latest developments and technologies in ophthalmology and surgery, with the participation of researchers from all over the world.
