Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyad Dehoud Al-Zubaidi, the Continuing Education Unit held a training course entitled (Studies and Planning Work Strategies). This came on Monday, 3/22/2023.
The course lecture was delivered by the head of the Studies and Planning Division at the College of Medicine, MM Ban Waheed, in which she targeted the people and units of the college whose work is related to the Studies and Planning Division and the mechanism for developing its current and future work.
The course included three axes: the first axis dealt with human resources, the second dealt with preliminary studies, and the third dealt with postgraduate studies.
The head of the Studies and Planning Division provided an introductory overview of the division and the vision, mission, goals and tasks of this division, which is concerned with providing data and statistics about the college, in addition to drawing up short, medium and long-term strategic plans, as it is distinguished by the presence of comprehensive statistics and data for all formations of the college, where the admission plan is drawn. For students for each academic year according to the requirements of the labor market, in addition to the development of scientific branches, divisions, and units to advance reality, keep pace with development, and fill the community’s need for cadres and specialists in various branches of science and knowledge.
