The Arab Universities Union extends its gratitude to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, for the distinguished success of the General Conference of the Arab Universities Union held in Baghdad and the initiative to establish the Arab Higher Education Area.

This was stated in the text of the letter from the General Union of Arab Universities / Office of the Secretary-General dated March 10, 2024, which included the following message:

The General Secretariat of the Union of Arab Universities sends you its sincerest greetings and appreciation, and I am honored on my behalf and on behalf of my colleagues, the presidents of Arab universities and the family of the General Secretariat of the Union, to extend to Your Excellency our thanks, congratulations, and blessings for the distinguished success achieved by the activities of the fifty-sixth session of the General Conference of the Union of Arab Universities held at the prestigious University of Baghdad. This success was achieved by the grace of God, then by the continuous work and sincere efforts of all the work teams in the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which were carried out under your direct instructions. We have witnessed the high level of warm reception, generous hospitality, and diligent follow-up of all the details that contributed to the success achieved.

I am also pleased to extend my thanks to Your Excellency on behalf of myself and my colleagues in the General Secretariat of the Union for the valuable initiative you launched regarding the establishment of the Arab Higher Education Area. We look forward to cooperation and joint coordination with the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the concerned Arab institutions to achieve this initiative.
