The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, laid the foundation stone for the Al-Ikhwa Residential City project, located near Baghdad International Airport.
In his speech during the official ceremony attended by the President of Baghdad University, several advisors, general directors, representatives of university administrations, and the National Investment Commission, the Minister of Education emphasized that this project represents a new map of dedicated work. He pointed out that the registration time is approaching and that the paths of differentiation and competition have been formulated according to fair regulations and controls written by the concerned experts, technicians, and legal professionals.
He reiterated in his speech that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is continuing to implement its programs indicated in the government program and the ministerial curriculum of the esteemed Iraqi government. The ministry is committed to overcoming any difficulties that may hinder the execution of public service projects, protecting the entitlements of teaching staff and employees, and providing the requirements and supplies that govern and regulate the work of vital projects linked to the aspirations and future of citizens, including this vital project that concerns a wide segment of workers and employees in the university institution.
The Minister of Education reassured the teaching staff and employees at Baghdad University and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research that their hopes would be realized by obtaining decent housing. The Al-Ikhwa Residential City project, currently undertaken by a coalition of several companies, is scheduled to be completed according to a well-studied timeline and will not be hindered by delays again.
The official ceremony included speeches by representatives of the executing companies’ coalition and a special presentation on the artistic vision that will result in a distinguished model in the field of residential projects equipped with the best required services.
