The proceedings of the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, which was held at the University of Baghdad, have concluded.
Members of the union voted to support the initiative proposed by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and to appreciate this endeavor aimed at enabling Arab universities to achieve their goals within a unified scientific framework.
The Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Dr. Amro Ezzat Salama, clarified that the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities welcomes and appreciates the initiative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Iraq regarding the establishment of a unified Arab area for higher education, affirming the conference’s commitment to working on the implementation of this distinguished initiative.
At the conclusion of the conference activities, certificates of participation and membership were presented to the Arab universities that joined the union, which has reached a total of thirty universities.”
