The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, confirmed the further development of educational programs for educational specialties and improving their fields and outputs.

This came in his speech during the ceremony of the centenary of the founding of the Faculty of Education/ Ibn Rushd at the University of Baghdad in the presence of a gathering of ministers, deputies, advisors, university presidents, deans, teachers and students, where he explained that the Ministry of higher education and scientific research is keen to take into account the course of the government program and the priorities of the ministerial curriculum and the national strategy for education in providing the necessary support to colleges in all their specialties and harnessing the potentials according to what researchers and students need in the midst of their specialties, which ultimately results in university outputs that his need for academic pedagogical specialties.

The minister of Education appreciated the kind care and the commendable attention of the prime minister, Prof. Eng.Mohamed Shiaa al-Sudani, to the educational environment in general and to the ancient scientific edifices in particular, which have achieved indicators, successes and achievements worthy of being added to the achievement of our academic institutions, which have raised the name of Iraq in international competition platforms and documented their specialized research in international capacities and managed to achieve the thirty-seventh place in the world in the ranking of universities.

The ceremony included official speeches by the cultural adviser to the prime minister, the president of Baghdad University, and the dean of the Faculty of Education, Ibn Rushd, while a number of academic figures and representatives of community associations were honored.
