In order to develop the educational environment and measure institutional and programmatic performance indicators and the scientific research track, the Ministry of higher education and scientific research announces the results of the Iraqi ranking of universities for the year 2023.
This version, which was completed by the scientific supervision and Evaluation Authority, includes the evaluation of 95 governmental and private institutions according to institutional accreditation standards 20%, international rankings 10%, scientific research effectiveness 30%, community service 5%, digital maturity 2%, faculty members 10%, awards 5%, students 5%, infrastructure 5%, diversity and international cooperation 5%, Occupational Health and Safety 3%.
The rating results showed (www.iru.gov.iq the University of Baghdad ranked first, followed by the University of Babylon and the University of technology at the level of public universities, while the University of Dean achieved the first place at the level of private universities and colleges, and the University of the future came in second place, then the Islamic University in third place.
