The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, announced the return of the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils to its headquarters in the capital Baghdad.
The minister of Education stressed in his speech that the work of the forty-fifth session of the Council of the Union of Arab scientific research councils, currently held in the Arab Republic of Egypt, resulted in a historic decision to return, pointing out that the efforts of the Ministry of Education, which was crowned with success in this direction, were based on the guidance of H. E. prime minister Mr. Mohamed Shaya al-Sudani.
He expressed his deep thanks to the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils, its general secretariat and the member states that have given Iraq the confidence it deserves and the responsibilities it deserves, stressing at the same time continuing joint work and providing the necessary positive climates to host the activities and work of the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils in its ancient headquarters in central Baghdad and the keenness of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research and its university institutions to cooperate in the field of scientific research and activate integration contexts and strengthen the academic partnership environment.
