The Universities of Baghdad and Babylon have achieved competitive results for the first time in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024, which specializes in the response of global universities to the Sustainable Development Goals.
In the 2024 edition of the ranking results, nearly 1,400 universities around the world competed according to a methodology that includes indicators responsible for measuring the ability of university institutions to address environmental, social and governance challenges (ESG) in the world.
The results showed (click here) that the University of Baghdad achieved the status (940-921) globally, while the University of Babylon ranked (1201+) in the fields of environmental and social impact and governance.
It is worth mentioning that the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024 rating serves to read the efforts of educational institutions in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and to support the tasks of universities in implementing the response plan that extends to 2030.
