The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, named the (Al-Aqsa flood) on the graduation course for the academic year 2023/2022 in all Iraqi universities.
This came in his speech during the graduation ceremony of the thirtieth session at Al-Nahrain University, where he stressed that Iraq and its people are part of the flood of support for their brothers in Palestine, announcing the naming (flood Al-Aqsa) on the graduation course for the academic year 2023/2022 at all Iraqi universities to document the position of Iraq, its people and institutions to support the Palestinian people defending their land and legitimate rights against the criminal Zionist entity.
In his speech, he added that it is no longer enough to temporarily sympathize with the Palestinian victims and martyrs, and it is no longer acceptable for the world to watch the Zionist barbarism that slaughters children, demolishes homes and hospitals in Gaza, and prevents the vital elements of water, food, medicine and communications from civilians.
He added that this stage, which carries an exceptional specificity, requires everyone, including the Iraqi academic institution, to support the flood of sacrifices and heroism offered by Palestinians in Gaza as they face the Zionist death machine and raise the banner of historical victory against the usurping entity that practices the most heinous crimes and violates human rights and international law in full view of the competent international organizations.
