In the College of Science at the University of Mosul, a master’s thesis was discussed for the student in the chemistry branch, Muhammad Adnan Mahmoud Hadid, tagged (thyroid hormones on heart failure disease before and after infection with the Corona virus).
The thesis presented by the student dealt with the possibility of considering thyroid hormones as a factor affecting heart failure disease and increasing the side effects of patients. The study was also conducted for patients when infected with the emerging corona virus, which turned out to be a significant factor affecting heart failure patients. Studying the effect of thyroid hormones and the corona virus Together on heart disease by measuring the hormonal and biochemical variable, which included T3, T4, fT4, fT3, TSH, Anticardiilipin, HDL, LDL, GOT, Antiphopholipid, .
The study concluded that thyroid hormones have a direct effect on the heart and on the vital activities of this organ.
And that early detection and treatment of thyroid hormone imbalance may spare the patient heart complications, the most important of which is heart failure.
