A thesis at the University of Karbala discussing knowledge, behavior and practice of breast self-examination

I discussed my doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Karbala, which was titled (Knowledge, Behaviors, and Practice of Breast Self-Examination for a Group of Female Students at the University of Karbala) by the student (Istibraq Muhammad Majeed), and she received a very good grade. The average age of the participants is 19.9 years (1.45 +-) and the highest participation rate is observed for the 18-20 age group (258 participants), where it was 66.3% compared to the rest of the age groups. It was found that 75% of the participants live in urban areas and it was concluded from these Thesis Although the study documented a high level of awareness among the students of Karbala University, the practice of breast self-examination was relatively low. This is often due to not knowing the exact method to be followed or students not being confident in finding any medical benefit from the practice
