The continuous holding of College Council meetings throughout the academic year requires organization and supervision. This is what the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Khalid Khalil Al-A’araji, has strived for by selecting the working staff in the unit and guiding them on the work mechanism followed in this sensitive place, which is characterized by complete confidentiality.

The Secretariat of the College Council is administratively linked, according to the organizational structure, to the Dean of the College. The unit’s tasks are managed by the Secretary of the College Council (Mr. Abdul Hussein Sahib Al-Ezirjawi), who contributes to the completion of the council’s work.

One of the most important duties of the Secretariat of the College Council is to prepare the council’s agenda, which is discussed during the session, and to prepare the minutes of the College Council meeting, which includes everything discussed during the session, in addition to ratifying those minutes and sending them to the University Council Secretariat.

The Secretariat of the Council also documents the minutes of the department councils in the college and the scientific committees, in addition to following up on the implementation of the decisions made during the council’s meetings and ensuring their execution.
