The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Baghdad, Mr. Elbrus Kutrashev, and his accompanying delegation.
The Minister emphasized the importance of bilateral academic relations and the development of their contexts in light of the fields of understanding, cooperation, and mutual interest between universities, according to the scientific requirements under which the institutions of the two friendly countries operate.
Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, explained Iraq’s direction and its specialized institutions towards implementing the zero-power reactor project, which will provide significant scientific momentum for training students and conducting specialized educational research in Iraqi universities.
For his part, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Mr. Elbrus Kutrashev, appreciated the interest of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its institutions in scientific cooperation with Russian universities and the development of academic relations that match the history and depth of the relationship between Baghdad and Moscow.
