The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has granted institutional accreditation to the Universities of Al-Mustansiriya, Anbar, Karbala, Muthanna, and Al-Mustaqbal.
The decision stated that the Iraqi Council for Institutional Accreditation in the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority decided to grant institutional accreditation to these universities for meeting the standards of the educational institution’s strategy, governance and administration, financial and material resources, faculty members, students, scientific research, community service, and curricula.
Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, affirmed the universities’ commitment to embodying quality and accreditation requirements, achieving the mission and goals of the educational institution, and keeping pace with the global academic education trend. Meanwhile, the university presidents appreciated the ministry’s attention to the quality of education and institutional performance in line with the requirements of development and its global objectives.
