
The Curriculum Committee at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, met based on the college’s instructions as an essential part of the academic development process. Regular meetings are held to review and update the curricula according to local and international standards.
The meetings aim to review the curricula and propose amendments ranging from 10-20% as a maximum according to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, focusing on feedback from faculty members, students, graduates, and beneficiaries.
- Global developments in the medical field are studied and compared to Iraq’s needs to ensure that the curricula keep pace with current and future health challenges.
The committee is formed of 11 scientific branches within the college, each branch representing a member in the committee, and works under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Khaled Khalil Al-Araji.
- In the meeting held on Wednesday, 2025/2/5, all related completed work and amendments in the college were discussed.
