The Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Khaled Khalil Al-Araji, appreciated the efforts of Dr. Ruaa Anwar Al-Dahan, the top student of the 2024 class, who participated in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s Creativity and Excellence Award competition held at the Ministry’s building in Baghdad. Dr. Al-Dahan achieved third place in Iraq among more than thirty-five medical students from various medical colleges in Iraq.
The Dean of the College, along with the assistant deans, Assistant Professor Dr. Basheer Aqeel Al-Ali and Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Redha Abutahin, thanked Dr. Al-Dahan for her significant efforts and praised her excellent representation of the college. The college administration presented her with the Creativity and Excellence Shield and expressed their gratitude and appreciation.
Dr. Ruaa Al-Dahan stated: “The competition was a new challenge that added a lot of determination and perseverance to my ambitions. With proper planning, one’s work and effort bear fruit. I strive to serve the community, whether as an educator in academia or in healthcare, to portray a bright image of the Iraqi doctor.”
