Dr. Majid Abdul Azim Al-Mayali, Assistant Director General of Karbala Health Department and President of the Doctors’ Syndicate, congratulated Professor Dr. Khalid Khalil Al-Araji on his appointment as the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala, alongside the college’s administrative assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashir Aqeel Al-Ali.
Dr. Al-Mayali and his accompanying delegation from Karbala Health Department affirmed their continuous support for their college. Dr. Al-Mayali stated that the Karbala Health Department aims to intensify and synergize efforts to provide the College of Medicine with health, administrative, and training services in the public interest and for the college. He added that they intend to provide all clinical training and examination requirements for college students, postgraduate students, research centers, and board certifications. They also plan to streamline administrative work between the Health Department, the university, and specifically the College of Medicine, as it is the main artery of health in the governorate.
Dr. Khalid Al-Araji added: “We appreciate the tremendous efforts provided by Karbala Health Department and affirm that investing in knowledge through the specialists of Karbala Health Department is the desired goal to continue the wheel of education and medical education by applying the integrated system’s terms literally according to the highest standards of comprehensive quality.”
