For the sixth time, the Karbala International Journal of Modern Sciences has been crowned the best Iraqi scientific journal.

Continuing its line of excellence, the Karbala International Journal of Modern Sciences, published by the University of Karbala, has been crowned the best Iraqi scientific journal for the sixth time. This recognition was part of the Iraqi Science Day activities organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the University of Baghdad.

Iraqi academics have confirmed that this consecutive achievement indicates the leadership level of this journal and its active role in supporting scientific research, as well as its efforts in publishing rigorous research at both local and international levels. Additionally, this honor reflects the journal’s established status, which had previously received special recognition from the Iraqi Council of Ministers during the National Job Day celebration last year.

It is worth mentioning that this distinction was based on the journal’s adherence to precise scientific standards, including the Impact Factor and CiteScore, as well as the global geographical diversity of the editorial board members and the contributions of international authors and reviewers.
