The President of Karbala University, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, received the President of Imam Hussein University in Iran, Dr. Mohammad Reza Hosni Ahankar, and his accompanying delegation.
Dr. Sabah mentioned that Karbala University has signed numerous scientific cooperation and understanding agreements with global universities, including British, French, and Iranian institutions.
Wajid explained that opening up to global universities aligns with the vision of the Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, in opening up to scientific institutions and benefiting from their experiences in the field of scientific research.
For his part, the President of Imam Hussein University, Dr. Mohammad Reza Hosni Ahankar, praised the various scientific branches at Karbala University, as well as the presence of specialized research centers in strategic and environmental fields.
Hosni stated that “Imam Hussein University aspires to benefit from Karbala University’s experience in research and scientific fields.”
The President of Karbala University, accompanied by his Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Haider Mohammad, took the visiting delegation on a field tour of the completed student projects within the Global Entrepreneurship Week.
On the sidelines of the visit, Karbala University signed a scientific cooperation agreement with Imam Hussein University, aiming to activate scientific partnership to ensure the advancement of the scientific reality of both institutions.
