University President Follows Up on Infrastructure Projects

The President of Karbala University, Sabah Wajid Ali, conducted an inspection tour to review the progress of some infrastructure projects inside and outside the university.

During his tour, the university president reviewed the projects of the university’s back gate and the pedestrian bridge leading to it, directing the acceleration of the completion of these projects to alleviate traffic congestion at the university gates.

He also reviewed the issue of the stopped electric pedestrian bridge facing the university and directed immediate maintenance to ensure the safety of students and faculty members.

The head of the Higher Education Committee in the Provincial Council, Dr. Mohsen Al-Kanani, confirmed that the committee continues to support and assist in implementing projects that serve the university environment, noting at the same time the council’s readiness to extend a helping hand to serve the educational process and elevate the university’s level both locally and internationally.

Accompanying the university president on his tour were Dr. Mohsen Al-Kanani, head of the Higher Education Committee in the Provincial Council, Abdul Amir Rashid Saleh, Director of Water Resources in the province, Engineer Hassan Al-Sharifi, Director of the Municipality, and several specialists.
