The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the reopening of applications for the elite student channel in public universities for the academic year 2024/2025.
According to the approved regulations, eligible applicants are students who graduated from the third round of preparatory studies for the academic year 2023/2024 with an average of 90% or above in the scientific, biological, applied, and literary branches. Applications are to be submitted to the colleges of administration and economics within the departments of business administration, statistics, public administration, industrial management, accounting, economics, and financial and banking sciences, as well as the colleges of law, education, and basic education in universities located within the student’s province of residence.
Students from all provinces who graduated from the scientific, biological, and applied branches are eligible to apply for the industrial management of oil and gas specialization at the University of Basra for Oil and Gas, provided their average is not less than 92%.
The Directorate of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up clarifies that applications for this channel will continue until the end of the official working hours on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. The application process begins with students submitting their choices through the electronic form on the Studies Portal (www.dirasat-gate.org) and then visiting any public university within their province of residence for the interview and test.
