The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, announced the launch of applications for the free scholarship channel for medical group colleges in private universities and colleges for the academic year 2024/2025.
In a message on this occasion, he emphasized the ministry’s interest in students with high grades and providing a suitable environment for positive competition according to the requirements and regulations for applying to the free scholarship. It stipulated that the student must be a graduate of the preparatory study (biological science) for the academic year 2023/2024 exclusively and that the applicant’s average should not be less than 93% for dentistry and pharmacy colleges and 96% for general medicine colleges after adding the first round score and the added language.
In this regard, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research clarifies that the application is through downloading the PEAS application. A student with an average of 96% or above is entitled to apply to 10 different choices, and a student with an average of 93% can apply to 6 different choices within private universities or colleges. The acceptance in the free scholarship is based on the highest competitive average.
