The College of Medicine at Karbala University held a scientific medical course titled “Preterm Birth and Amniotic Fluid Leak: Risk Factors, Complications, Prevention, and Treatment” to focus on women’s health and to define preterm birth and amniotic fluid leak, their causes, risk factors, complications, and methods of prevention and treatment.
The course aimed to understand the causes of preterm birth, its impact on the lives of newborns, and the methods that can be adopted to prevent it and avoid its complications.
The course included:

- Expected complications and how to avoid and manage them
The course was presented by:

Dr. Kawakib Majid emphasized the importance of increasing health awareness about this medical condition to reduce its occurrence among pregnant women.
