Karbala University College of Medicine Discusses Sixth-Year Students’ Research on Neonatal Diabetes

The College of Medicine at Karbala University discussed the research of sixth-year students on neonatal diabetes in newborns from mothers with the disease or due to concurrent and genetic factors.

The research aimed to treat affected cases through medical intervention and appropriate doses of treatment and solutions.

Dr. Shahrazad Al-Jubouri stated: “Maintaining the health of newborns is a priority in our medical research due to the dangers of hypoglycemia and the need to take necessary measures for at-risk newborns and to address hypoglycemia immediately.”
