The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and his Emirati counterpart, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratizations and Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, signed an executive program for cooperation in higher education and scientific research.
The bilateral agreement signed between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Iraq and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the United Arab Emirates for the years 2025 – 2026 – 2027 includes contexts of support, documentation, and cooperation between the two countries in the educational field. It involves the exchange of experiences and expertise related to higher education and scientific research, including the exchange of information in academic fields and educational systems for the equivalence of university and higher education degrees for the purpose of mutual recognition of degrees according to the regulations in force in both countries, and the exchange of systems in the field of academic program evaluation and institutional accreditation in both countries, among other various academic fields.
