He stressed in his speech during the honoring ceremony that the award project, which was adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the second year in a row, opened the door wide to review and enhance the contexts of general culture, noting that university students participated and contributed to understanding its scientific and cultural implications and the requirements of cultural responsibility that embody the identity of society and its extensions in the past, present and future were integrated.
The Minister of Education stressed the importance of these programs and activities in undergraduate university studies and paving the way for their transition from the realm of competitions to the scientific research environment that achieves the usefulness of the university degree, which must address the challenges and risks facing societies and leave a clear impact that shortens the effort and time in producing solutions and dismantling problems.
The ceremony witnessed a speech by the organizing committee delivered by the Director General of the Research and Development Department, Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi, while the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the winning students with an amount of one hundred million dinars and the organizing committee with thanks and appreciation in appreciation of their efforts in organizing the competition procedures.
