Karbala University College of Medicine Organizes a Workshop on Psychological Resilience

The College of Medicine at Karbala University organized a scientific and educational workshop on psychological resilience. Psychological resilience is a crucial personal skill that enables individuals to cope with changes, emergencies, and difficult situations, returning to their normal state. Key factors contributing to building psychological resilience include: 1) Individual efficacy, and 2) Personal causality.

Individuals with psychological resilience typically exhibit characteristics such as self-confidence, sound decision-making, and responsibility.

The workshop featured presentations by Professor Dr. Ali Tareq Abdul Hassan and Associate Professor Dr. Ayser Aboud. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of psychological resilience in both personal and professional life, and to provide strategies for coping with difficulties. The workshop covered topics such as the definition of psychological resilience, its importance, psychological fragility, and the causes of psychological fragility.

The workshop targeted university professors, educational staff, and graduate and undergraduate students.
