The President of Karbala University, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, was chosen to chair the discussion committee of a doctoral thesis at the College of Arts at the University of Baghdad entitled Marginal Literature as Undermining: A Comparative Study of Deleuze and Guattari’s Theorizing in Selections of Kurdish and Arab American Poets, which was presented by researcher Karar Issa Abdul Hassan.
Dr. Sabah Wajid was chosen to chair this committee due to his scientific standing and his publication of a number of solid research papers in journals inside and outside Iraq, in addition to his participation in local and international conferences.
It is worth noting that a number of professors from the University of Karbala supervise and judge local and international scientific research due to their scientific standing and prestigious reputation at the local and international levels.
