The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, announced the start of applying for the free scholarship channel for the colleges of the medical group in private universities and colleges for the academic year 2024/2025 AD.
He stressed in a message on this occasion the ministry’s interest in the categories of students who obtained high grades and providing the appropriate environment for positive competition according to the requirements and controls for applying for the free scholarship, which stipulated that the student be a graduate of preparatory studies (biological sciences) for the academic year 2023/2024 AD exclusively and that the applicant’s average should not be less than (93%) for the colleges of dentistry and pharmacy and (96%) for the colleges of general medicine after adding the first round grade and the added language.
In this regard, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research clarifies that the application is done by downloading the PEAS application and that the student whose average is (96%) or above is entitled to apply for (10) different options and that the student whose average is (93%) applies for (6) different options within private universities or colleges and that acceptance for the free scholarship is according to the highest competitive average.
