Assistant Professor Dr. Mahdi Hamid Abu Raghif, a lecturer in the Department of Physiology at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, chaired the discussion committee for the master’s thesis of the researcher (Zainab Adel Ali) entitled “Neurophysiological assessment of peripheral neuropathy resulting from chemotherapy for patients with malignant blood tumors in adults”
The study concluded that the rate of peripheral neuropathy resulting from chemotherapy may reach 37% in leukemia patients.
