The study aimed to study the role of albumin biomarkers modified for ischemia
The study also concluded that IMA, in addition to other clinical factors, can be used to improve risk stratification for patients undergoing coronary artery catheterization, especially those expected to be complex. The study showed that ischemia-adjusted albumin levels can be used as a marker to assess the degree of ischemia occurring during therapeutic catheterization, especially in patients with major arterial occlusion with branches.
