The Obstetrics and Gynecology Branch at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, held a training course entitled “The latest developments used in the treatment of ectopic pregnancy,” sponsored by the scientific pharmaceutical company “Replak Pharma” and in cooperation with the Karbala Health Department.
The course aimed to raise the scientific awareness of the participants in order to raise the health and service situation to the highest levels and reduce the aggravation of the seriousness and complications of medical cases, especially emergency ones.
The course included many and varied topics, including clarifying the concept of treating ectopic pregnancy, explaining the causes and risk factors that cause this condition, as well as explaining the need for blood transfusion and intravenous fluid transfer. It also included conservative, medical-surgical treatment and prevention methods.
