A teacher in medicine in Karbala participates in giving a scientific lecture at the Second Samarra International Conference for Pure and Applied Sciences

Professor Dr. Fadel Jawad Al-Touma, a teaching assistant in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Branch at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, participated in delivering a scientific lecture for the Second Samarra International Conference for Pure and Applied Sciences, which was held at the College of Applied Sciences at the University of Samarra, under the slogan “Nations advance through science and knowledge” for the period from May 15-16, 2024, in cooperation with the Holy Military Shrine, and under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The conference included the participation of professors and researchers in medical and applied scientific specializations, from various Iraqi and Arab universities.

And academics, in the presence of the President of Samarra University, his assistants, and the deans of its colleges.

Presenting a large number of developments in biochemical and genetic markers used to diagnose various diseases related to atherosclerosis and various symptoms of other heart diseases, explaining their types and symptoms, risk factors, treatment methods, and methods of prevention.
