The Obstetrics and Gynecology Branch at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, held a training course entitled “Uterine Bleeding Disorders”
In cooperation with the Karbala Health Department.
The course aimed to introduce participants to the latest developments on how to evaluate pathological uterine bleeding and how to treat it, and to identify the types of abnormal uterine bleeding and the conditions and diseases that cause them.
The course included many and varied topics, including blood and clotting diseases that cause bleeding in women, explaining how to deal with them during pregnancy and at birth, the mechanism of bleeding compensation, and blood and platelet transfusion.
