In confirmation of our diligent follow-up of the details resulting from the decision of the National Retirement Authority regarding the retirement rights of professors and assistant professors whose job services have been extended based on the legal legislation in force, His Excellency the Prime Minister directed the adoption of the content of our letter submitted to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers on 7/4/2024, which stipulated that the years of extension for this segment be adopted as actual job service and not service for work, in implementation of the University Service Law No. 23 of 2008, as amended.
In this regard, we reiterate our keenness and commitment to enable the members of our universities to enjoy their legally stipulated rights and to proceed with integration with the competent sectoral institutions to achieve the objectives of the public interest.
