He added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has succeeded in implementing the Bologna process in universities and has established an important program to attract international students to study in Iraqi universities, in addition to providing training opportunities in reputable international universities, through which Iraqi students have benefited from diverse learning environments that contributed to the development of their scientific and academic skills and capabilities.
He added that the ministry is following a regular path to rehabilitate and develop the infrastructure of universities and enhance their absorptive capacity in light of the indicators of a clear increase in the percentage of enrollment in higher education institutions as well as the conclusion of scientific twinning programs with a number of international universities in specialties related to comprehensive development.
