The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the launch of the second edition of the Study in Iraq program to attract international students in Iraqi universities for the academic year 2025/2024.
The Study in Iraq program included 14,322 study seats offered by 59 Iraqi public and private universities, distributed on 57% for free scholarships and 43% for half-free scholarships in medical, health, engineering, pure science, agricultural, veterinary, administrative, law, political, educational and humanitarian disciplines for the bachelor, higher diploma, master’s and doctoral stages for the academic year 2024/2025.
The application for the scholarships starts from today, Monday, April 1, 2024, through the online platform of the Study in Iraq program (https://studyiniraq.scrd-gate.gov.iq/home).
The launch of the new version of the Study in Iraq program witnessed official speeches and detailed presentations in the presence of a number of representatives of diplomatic missions in Baghdad, advanced staff, university presidents, deans of colleges and an elite group of international students studying in Iraqi universities.
