The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, chaired a meeting of the ministerial committee responsible for preparations for the launch of the second edition of the study in Iraq program for the year 2025/2024.
During the meeting, the minister of Education listened to a full explanation of the program of the previous version for the year 2024/2023, which attracted two thousand and fifteen international students enrolled in studying at Iraqi universities in various specialties at The Bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.
The minister of Education praised the indicators of success achieved in this file, which will enhance the academic reputation of Iraqi universities and give positive momentum at the level of competition in global rankings, pointing at the same time to the importance of attracting international students and enhancing the path of integration between the Departments of the ministry and its university institutions in the management of the new version of the study in Iraq program, which will be ready for launch next March.
