The College of Medicine at Karbala University organizes a training course on cardiopulmonary resuscitation

The College of Medicine at Karbala University organized a training course on cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which lasted for three days from February 16 to 18, 2024, under the supervision of the international trainer and emergency medicine specialist Dr. Imran Imam from the state of California, USA, in addition to trainers from the College of Medicine at Karbala University and emergency doctors from the health departments of Karbala and Najaf Al-Ashraf.

It is worth mentioning that the course is held annually, and comes within the framework of the joint cooperation between the College of Medicine at Karbala University and the Health Department of the holy city of Karbala.

The number of participants was about 180 participants from the sixth stage students in the College of Medicine in Karbala, and a number of new doctors in Karbala.

The course aimed at developing the capabilities of the medical group students in the future, as well as knowing the practical skills necessary to take the correct actions in emergency and accident cases.

The course included the basics of safety and how to deal with emergency and critical cases, in addition to practical application of the basics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, in the presence of a wonderful student audience.
