Iraq receives international accreditation from the World Federation for medical education (WFME)

The World Federation for Medical Education (World federation for medical education) has granted the National Council for accreditation of medical colleges in Iraq (NCAMC) full international accreditation on the level of evaluation of programs and standards adopted in areas within the quality of medical education.

According to the text of the letter sent by (WFME), the recognition Committee of the World Federation has concluded its vote and approved the recognition of NCAMC for a period until 2034, and the National Council for accreditation of medical colleges in Iraq is accredited in its policies and procedures to ensure the quality of medical education.

On this blessed occasion, the minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, congratulates the Iraqi people, their esteemed government and the National Council for accreditation of medical colleges and university and health institutions on this unprecedented historical achievement, which bears a conclusive indication that the achieved international accreditation represents the result of the hard work of our sober national educational institutions, which have accomplished with confidence and responsibility and in record time what the faithful aspire to in the medical education environment in Iraq.
