The branch of family and Community Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine held a scientific lecture for graduate students in Family Medicine entitled “quality assurance and patient safety” in which Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hussein Brahimi, master of community medicine, specialty of quality from Jordan, Jordanian Board of oncology, professor at the Faculty of Medicine, dean University, and the quality and Patient Safety Program Officer at Al-Kafeel hospital .
The lecture aimed to introduce postgraduate students in family and community medicine to the vital importance of following international quality standards in our health institutions to ensure the best performance, improve the type of health service provided to our patients in various health service facilities and protect patients from all risks they may be exposed to.
At the end of the lecture, the dean of the Faculty of Medicine honored Dr. Ahmed Brahimi with a book( thanks and appreciation) in appreciation of the valuable scientific information he provided, which enriched the students ‘ knowledge and introduced them to the latest scientific developments in the field of quality performance of health institutions.
